Best Campus is a web application that brings university and programme information together for students in Pakistan. Students can search universities, explore programmes, compare fees and find scholarship information in one interface. Auto Act built the platform with Laravel and MySQL.
Choosing a university means checking programme details, fees and scholarships across individual university websites. Those details change, so students struggle to compare their options and keep up with updates. Best Campus needed one place to discover that information, backed by a process for collecting and checking university data.
We built the student application and the administration tools behind it. Scrapers collect programme data from university websites, and scheduled checks track changes, with notifications when source information changes. Administrators add university websites as data sources, configure selectors and manage the scraping process. A jQuery and Bootstrap front end presents the search, comparison and account screens.
