Project overview

Amanoon is a multi-vendor electronics marketplace for the UAE. It connects business buyers, retail shoppers and technology sellers. We built Laravel backend features and API integrations behind its storefront.

An electronics catalogue carries more detail than a simple product list. Buyers need to narrow their options by the specifications that matter to them. The marketplace has to hold products from multiple sellers, handle transactions securely and give buyers a direct way to reach a seller.

We built Laravel backend features for complex product filtering and secure transaction handling. We added API integrations, including WhatsApp, so product enquiries can begin from the storefront. The frontend runs on React. Our contribution focused on backend development and API integrations within this wider stack, not the whole Amanoon platform.

01. Filter by specification
We built Laravel backend features for complex product filtering across a broad electronics catalogue. Buyers narrow their options by brand, processor, screen size, GPU and RAM.
02. Secure transaction handling
We developed backend functionality for secure transaction handling. It covers the transaction side of the marketplace, alongside the catalogue and integrations.
03. Buyer to seller, on WhatsApp
We built API integrations, including WhatsApp, for direct communication between buyers and sellers. Product enquiries can begin from the storefront.
04. Backend for a React storefront
Laravel runs the backend features in this case study. A React frontend gives business and retail buyers one place to browse the marketplace.
